My submission to weeklyartchallenges. Not… sure if it got in to be honest but that’s okay.
Anyway very inspired by the Red Death costume from Phantom of the Opera. I wanted to capture some of that extravagance and a limited palette seemed like a fun way to try it.
As for the character himself, he’s a spirit who’s settled down in modern day Senneville. The cloth wrapped near the base of his cane is what ties him to the land of the living. His name is Bailey.
